At Yoga 170, we are here to bring you a beautiful space and a welcoming community for you to start, or grow, your yoga practice. Our studio is unique in that instructors bring their own creative and authentic style to each and every class they teach. We offer a variety of class types so you can pick and choose what feels right to you..

Vinyasa classes.
Vinyasa Flow.
This class leads students through a refreshing flow of poses, linking breath with movement. You’ll experience a clear mind, flexible and functional strength, and a more grounded, centered feeling at the end of each class. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Active Vinyasa Flow.
Our most active yoga class when you need to get moving and then stretch it out. Class will move through creative sequences set to inspiring music — leaving you with a strong body and clear mind. Geared towards those with yoga experience.
Gentler classes.
Hatha Yoga.
A well-rounded, slower paced class that begins with centering and breath work, allowing the body to find release. Class moves into gentle openings of the spine, hips and shoulders with traditional poses and moderate movement. Ample time given for relaxation to end class. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Gentle Yoga.
Our slowest, most gentle class. We’ll focus on breathing, gentle movements, and supported poses. A perfect class for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer approach to yoga. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Mindful Yoga.
An easy-paced class with an emphasis on gentle movement, full body stretches, breathing and relaxation. Poses are done carefully and slowly and attention is given to bringing mindfulness to both the body and mind. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Restorative Yoga.
Restorative Yoga is an excellent way to quiet the mind and calm the body. With the use of props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets (all available for you at the studio), restorative postures release tension and encourage a deeper sense of relaxation and stillness. Perfect for all levels of experience, and stages of flexibility.
Evening classes.
Candlelight Yoga.
This evening class infuses candlelit ambiance and soothing music to leave you feeling stretched out and calm. Slow, intentional movements, deeper stretches, and luxurious relaxation await you — true relaxation!
Mindful Yoga for Sleep.
This class is a wonderful end to your day, combining gentle movement with restorative, relaxing poses to calm the nerves and prepare your body for bed and a good sleep.
Yin Yoga + Deep Stretch.
In a Yin yoga class, poses are held for longer periods of time to facilitate a deeper stretch and release in the connective tissue or fascia. This style of yoga is an excellent practice to balance a busy, active lifestyle or a routine filled with lots of movement and exertion. Appropriate and encouraged for all levels.
Fitness classes.
Core & Balance.
Core & Balance is a class for all ages and fitness levels. It focuses on the all important “core muscles” which are critical for flexibility, balance, and strength. You will build strength and flexibility, resulting in an improved posture and a strong lean body.
Barre.
Barre combines low impact, highly effective movements based on the elements of ballet and yoga. A fun and energizing class that is set to upbeat, motivating music to leave you strong and toned!
PIYO: Cardio Yoga + Pilates.
PIYO is a mix of pilates, cardio and yoga, set to an upbeat tempo! The blend of cardio and pilates will strengthen and tone you, while the yoga flow provides graceful and flowing elements to elongate and cool down. Geared towards those looking for a great workout!
Meditation.
Meditation.
Calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus to your day through the use of breath work, guided mindfulness meditation, and group discussion. A welcoming environment for those new to meditation and those with experience.
