“Keep peace in the mind. Strength in the body. And love in the heart.”
Your practice doesn’t expect you to show up happy. It doesn’t mind if you are put together or if you are a mess. You can arrive with a jumbled mind and a messy heart. Your practice could care less if you can touch your toes or meditate for hours. It simply understands that however you show up, you are present. And deserve to enjoy that moment.

I’ve been thinking a lot about strength lately. That mental and physical notion of being strong, even when it seems impossibly hard.
I wanted to share a story with you from a student (permission given to share). She wrote to me with such gratitude and shared how she had always felt totally overwhelmed by the thought of yoga — where to begin, where to go, where would she feel comfortable?
