A 90 minute workshop to ease the mind, open the body and stretch the soft tissue. This workshop will provide the science behind mindfulness meditation, the benefits of a vinyasa practice and specifics on why we should consider yin poses in our yoga practices.

Mind + Body Workshop
In this Mind + Body workshop, we'll enjoy a refreshing yoga for wellness practice (appropriate and encouraged for all levels, even beginners), followed by an informative wellness workshop. We’ll chat about what it means to eat clean and how to make it work for you so that you feel your best every day. Eating clean helps fight off disease, manage weight, clear brain fog & stabilize moods. Paired with exercise, it will leave you feeling good in your body & mind.

Create Calm with Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a quiet practice that encourages you to relax rather than to engage. In Yin, the poses are mostly on the floor and are held for several minutes, focusing the connective tissues of the body. This workshop will offer affirmations and mantras — focused on the four practices to open the heart, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity The combination of yin yoga postures, readings, and meditation will help you to cultivate a calm, strong, steady center. Suitable for all bodies/all abilities. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Beth Cholette.
A firm blanket and/or bolster is recommended to make the postures more comfortable. We'll also be using the wall as a prop for added support.
Class available in-person and via livestream.
