Meet Alli and her new class

“If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.” - Gail Sheehy

We have a few updates and several exciting class announcements this week!

Welcome Alli M 🌟
Please join me in welcoming Alli Mincher to the Yoga 170 team! When Alli and I met, I immediately got the feeling that she’d be the perfect addition. Be sure to check out her new class, Slow Flow Vinyasa, on Sunday mornings!

A bit more about Alli —

”Alli has been practicing yoga for over 20 years ago, first enjoying it as a supplement to athletics before discovering its many benefits both on and off the mat. Through years of an on-again, off-again practice, she began to realize that she consistently came back to yoga during times of stress and uncertainty and found herself feeling more grounded, centered, and focused.

Prompted by her desire to see more diverse body types represented in yoga and wellness, Alli received her 200 hour Hatha yoga teacher certification in January 2021. Her style of teaching reflects her passion for mindfulness and finding joy in movement, with a strong emphasis on variations for all levels and bodies. She is currently working on her certification to teach Vipassana meditation, with expected completion in summer 2022.

Off the mat, Alli stays busy as a mom, wife, and product marketer in the software industry. She enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking with her husband, son, and rescue dog.”

Slow Flow Vinyasa 💛
This class delivers the ultimate in calm energy. You’ll enjoy flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Suitable for all levels, including beginners. Join Alli every Sunday morning at 10am!

* Alli begins on Sunday, 3/27 and Julie will be teaching next Sunday’s class.

Gratitude and best wishes 🙏
Please join me in wishing Carly and Kellie the best of luck! Even though they will be leaving the Yoga 170 team, this is not goodbye, but more of “see you soon”. They’ve both brought a wonderful presence to our community and I know our yoga paths will cross again. Much love and appreciation for you both!

Sunday mornings ☕️
To provide a variety of class styles on Sunday mornings, we’ll be offering Erin’s PIYO (Cardio Yoga) at 8:45am as our active class, followed by Alli M’s Slow Flow Vinyasa for a soothing, less intense class at 10am. We hope this offers everyone a nice choice to start your Sunday.

Friday 10am 🔥
Join Rachael for her Active Vinyasa Flow class, now on Tuesdays, Thursdays, AND Fridays at 10am, beginning 3/25. Think awesome playlists paired with a strength building vinyasa workout!
