New class + sharing our good vibes
New class alert! Join us on Thursday, 5:15-6:15pm for our new Vinyasa Flow class, beginning this week. This is not an intense class, but more of a gentle flow with Linda. You’ll enjoy a refreshing flow of poses, linking breath with movement, and a more grounded, centered feeling at the end of each class. Suitable for all levels, including beginners!

I’m so excited to announce that our Yoga 170 apparel is now available! We have shirts, tanks, lightweight hoodies, and beanies at the studio and also available online. Everything is extremely soft and unbelievably comfy!

Barre pop-up this Friday (and sneak peek of fall!)
I know we are all soaking up the summer sun and it doesn’t feel like Fall, but in just a few short weeks, it will be here! I already can’t wait for the gorgeous colors that surround the studio — it’s always a good reason to linger a little longer before or after class.
But first! We have one more special summer class this Friday evening to share with you. Join us this Friday, 8/27 at 5:30pm for a Barre pop-up as you head into the weekend.

We’re saying hello to the summer solstice with a special Gentle Yin-Yasa class with Melissa this Saturday, 6/19 at 10am. Gentle Yin-Yasa is a wonderful and gentle class to celebrate the start of summer.

Important studio updates
Hi everyone, I am writing to give you an update about the recently released NYS guidelines for masks and distancing and how we will be adjusting our policies at Yoga 170.
I realize that the updated guidelines from the CDC / NYS are big changes and that some people are super excited, and others are more cautiously optimistic. While I believe it's a very positive step forward, I also want to strike a balance between those that are cautiously optimistic and those that have few concerns. Our #1 goal is to provide a yoga environment that is trusted, comfortable, and welcoming for people of all ages and all backgrounds. I see this mutual trust between all of us as a very important element to our updated guidelines.
