New classes for Fall + yoga this week

Hello from Yoga 170! Tonight’s update includes this week’s yoga + meditation schedule, along with highlights of the new classes we are offering this Fall.

We are excited to offer you more new classes, and our amazing team of instructors will continue to bring their own creative and authentic style to each and every class. We’re so proud to offer you a variety of class types so you can pick and choose what feels right to you.

The Fall schedule is updated online here and will begin after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 7th (reminder that we are closed on Labor Day, Monday 9/6). We look forward to seeing you!

We are adding more classes for you to choose from this Fall! Our hope is that it gives you even more variety and choice so you can grow (or start) your yoga practice at Yoga 170. Here are a few highlights!

  • New Vinyasa Flow class on Mondays, 10am — This gives a consistent 9am or 10am choice of class for you during the week! We’re also offering a new Express Vinyasa on Thursdays, 5:30pm (45 min express).

  • New Core & Balance class on Mondays, 5:30pm (45 min express) and Tuesdays, 4-5pm — This is a new addition to our fitness-style of classes, encouraged for all ages and fitness levels.

  • Hatha Yoga returns to Mondays, 6:30pm, Yin Yoga will be offered on a rotating basis each month, Restorative Yoga returns monthly on Sunday evenings, and Yoga Basics will be offered as a special series later this Fall.

  • New Mindful Yoga for Sleep on Wednesdays, 7:30pm — This class combines gentle movement with restorative, relaxing poses to calm the nerves and prepare your body for bed and a good sleep.
