Meet the Yoga 170 babies!
We’ve had a baby boom here at Yoga 170 over the past few months! I wanted to take a moment to share the good news from three of our lovely instructors.

Our promise to you this year: Yoga for the body, presence for the mind, peace for the soul. This is our promise to you as we hold hope, optimism, and light for new beginnings in 2021.
So with this, I’ll start with a few exciting updates — all of which are coming soon! I’m really excited about what lies ahead and I hope that they provide you with more opportunities to grow your own practice as well!
New December events!
’Tis the season for treating yourself and others, and we have a little of both for you! We’ve added 2 special classes this month and be sure to check our online Holiday Sale. Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting our studio — it truly means so much.
Meditation returns to Yoga 170
I’m excited to let you know that we have added 2 new Meditation options for you — intended to bring awareness, reflection and peace to your practice.
Meditation is now available In-studio as part of our Tuesday’s Hatha Yoga class at 5:30pm (new time) and also Online as a short guided meditation. We will start with these 2 options and expand to more if everyone would like!
One student’s story + weekly schedule
I’ve been thinking a lot about strength lately. That mental and physical notion of being strong, even when it seems impossibly hard.
I wanted to share a story with you from a student (permission given to share). She wrote to me with such gratitude and shared how she had always felt totally overwhelmed by the thought of yoga — where to begin, where to go, where would she feel comfortable?
It’s our anniversary! And we have a sale for you.
We are celebrating! There are 3 great deals that are available starting right now. It is our way of saying THANK YOU.
New morning + late afternoon classes!
Parents! Take a 9am or 10am class after the kids head off to school. Teachers! New 4:45pm classes are a nice way to end your day. Morning folks — 8:30am gentle yoga has returned to the schedule! The studio schedule and a few more updates are all within.

If you are a student of Molly’s, or are connected with her, you know that she has been planning on moving with her husband to the beautiful state of Vermont.
I’ve been very fortunate over the last few years to learn from Molly, work with her, and to be able to call her a close friend. I will truly miss Molly but I am happy that she is starting this new chapter for her and her family!
Let’s celebrate with Molly as her dream is now becoming a reality and she wanted to share the following with you.
Walk through YOGA 170 with Ali — a video tour of our safety updates
We held our first few studio classes last week after being closed for 165 days and the feelings were ALL there. The familiar smells of the studio — lavender and lemon — welcomed us all back. The cross breeze from the canal was sweeping through the studio. Soft lights were glowing around us. And music filled the air. We were all distanced, safe, content and there was a feeling of community that we all had missed so much.
And I felt myself wishing that I could capture that feeling so you could see how the studio is set up and how it all works.
So…I took a video to let you walk through with me!
