The Art and Flow Yoga practice pairs yoga with playful art explorations intended to reconnect you with your creative nature. Each mini art experience invites you to connect with the process of creating, discovering and expressing inner imagery alongside a mindful yoga practice.
Our theme this month will center on rhythm. Yoga can feel like a rhythmic flow that moves and repeats guided by our breath. Focused, centered and peaceful. The same is true when you engage mindfully in the creative process. We will use pattern and repetition to create our own individual mandalas and a larger collaborative nature mandala outside.
Our practice begins with a brief meditation followed by a 40 minute slow yoga flow. We will use the rest of the time to begin creating our mandalas. We hope you will join us for this body, mind and spirit experience.
