Art + Flow Event: Rhythm
Yoga can feel like a rhythmic flow that moves and repeats guided by our breath. Focused, centered and peaceful. The same is true when you engage mindfully in the creative process. We will use pattern and repetition to create our own individual mandalas and a larger collaborative nature mandala outside.

Art meets restorative yoga in this creative yoga + art event. Enjoy a restorative yoga class paired with a thoughtful vision board creation experience.

Yoga Philosophy Book Club
A great opportunity to learn more about the history and philosophies of yoga! This is a donation-based class that meets 1/mo before Sunday Restorative Yoga.

New Year’s Eve Ball Class
End the year with an indulgent, relaxing self-massage class. This class will use small balls (provided by the studio) as a form of acupressure. The balls will be used head-to-toe to release tension and foster relaxation as you prepare for the new year. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Beth Cholette.

Gentle + Restorative Yoga for the Winter Solstice
A special weeknight class to celebrate the Winter Solstice! You’ll enjoy gentle and supported restorative poses in our warm, cozy studio. Rest and relax in an extended savasana designed to nurture the mind, body, and soul. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Heather Acomb.

Please join us for restorative yoga, pranayama, and a yoga nidra meditation specifically geared toward managing symptoms of anxiety in the moment as well as relieving symptoms of chronic stress. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Heather Acomb.

This deeply relaxing class will allow for ultimate relaxation. Practice will consist of restorative postures to help release any stiffness or tension before becoming still. Yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets are available at the studio, but students are welcome to bring their own. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Heather Acomb.

Yoga Nidra + Sound Bath
In a relaxing environment, you will be guided into a space of ease and receptivity through Karttikeyan Yoga Nidra and a Vibrational Sound Bath. Guided imagery will allow the body to enter a state of deep relaxation and rest. Healing frequencies from the symphonic gong, alchemy crystal bowl, wave, and shamanic drum will be woven to create a kaleidoscope of immersive, meditative soundscapes. Listeners will move into a hypnogogic state — the natural state experienced just before going to sleep.
Benefits of a sound bath include relaxation, stress reduction, and improved sleep. Additional benefits include:

This deeply relaxing class will blend Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) allowing for deeply profound relaxation. Practice will consist of restorative postures to help release any stiffness or tension before becoming still. A guided meditation will soothe you and allow for a true deep release. Taught by Yoga 170 instructor, Heather Acomb.
